Room flooring curled and humid, unexpected sewage smell, tax discrepancies causing check-in delays!!!

The Red Roof Inn in Annapolis is decent for the price. Got a large room and some good shopping nearby. However, ugh, the hot water didn't work in my first room. Overall, it was fine for a quick stay.

the plumbing was leaking everywhere and the room had a few roaches, what a fancy sight! and when I asked for a room change due to these issues, I got absolutely zero hospitality. I almost thought about giving a good review, but the rude receptionist just wouldn’t let it happen. avoid if you can!

Location is excellent, with plenty of shopping nearby.

The check-in process was abysmal due to persistent tax discrepancies, leading to over an hour of wasted time at the front desk. The outdated key system malfunctioned repeatedly, causing immense frustration. Additionally, the room was poorly maintained, with dim lighting that contributed to an overall gloomy atmosphere.

Spent one night in a Standard Room with Two Double Beds Non-Smoking. The location was within walking distance of popular retail stores, which was a pleasant surprise. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed that made the stay pretty enjoyable.

The hallway had a musty smell.

Customer service stood out, especially the day and night shift staff who went out of their way to assist. The night staff even carried ice to my room at midnight, showcasing their dedication. However, the room was disappointing. it had a stale odor and several lights were out.

i've stayed in annapolis before and red roof inn exceeded my expectations for an overnight stop. the customer service was genuinely great, especially the helpful young ladies during both shifts. the spacious room made my stay quite comfortable.

Later, the night shift staff were equally impressive when they assisted me at midnight by bringing ice to my room since the machine was upstairs. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired as I noticed a few maintenance issues that could be improved.
